Also, indicate at the end of the report what potential equipment or research XCOM could develop after researching the item/concept/enemy in question. Make sure to provide the codename for your research report, which XCOM timeline you are using (Enemy Within, XCOM 2, etc.), and the name of the franchise you are crossovering with, if any.
The research reports can be either within the XCOM franchise, or in the context of a crossover between XCOM and another franchise. I therefore came up with this thread, where people can post their own fanmade research reports. I though to myself, what kind of research reports could XCOM produce in potential crossovers with other series. One thing that has always fascinated me lorewise about XCOM is how you get detailed research reports whenever you finish a research project. For context, I've been playing the Long War mod for XCOM: Enemy Within for days, and I've also read or at least browsed over XCOM crossover stories such as Arratra's Rebel King and Agayek's XCOM: Second Contact. So, this is something that I've been wanting to do for a while now.
